ABOUT THE IMAGE: Steel and America is an educational short featuring Donald Duck that was released on May 5, 1965. It was produced for the American Iron and Steel Institute and released on 16mm. In 1974, it was remade and retitled Steel and America: A New Look.
This piece comes with a gold "art corner" which certifies its authenticity as an original Disney production cel that was sold at the Art Corner store in Disneyland.
ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original Production Cels are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-painted by studio artists on a piece of celluloid acetate, and has been photographed over a background painting to create a frame of the finished production.
