ABOUT THE IMAGE:  In order to bring J.K. Rowlings deeply imaginative Harry Potter story to the movie screen, Warner Bros. Studios and the Harry Potter series producer, David Heyman enlisted an outstanding team of filmmakers including award-winning production designer, Stuart Craig. Craig feels that the filmmaking process is about giving the audience images (sometimes even exaggerating them for effect) and eliminating anything that gets in the way of people understanding and following the story. The result of his meticulous study of the world Rowling created, is a series of production designs rendered under his direction by top illustrators such as Andrew Williamson. The result is a visual creation of Harry’s world that has thrilled filmgoers worldwide.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Norman Stuart Craig (OBE) is a noted British production designer. He designed the sets on all of the Harry Potter film series films and at Potter author J. K. Rowling's request, he is worked with Universal Creative team to design the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure theme park.  He has been nominated for an Academy Award nine times, and has won three times. Craig was also nominated for an Art Directors Guild award and the Guild honored him with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
