Clayface

Clayface is from the Batman: The Animated Series television show, which aired from 1992 to 1995. The character was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm and was voiced by several actors throughout the series.

The original Clayface, Basil Karlo, was a B-movie actor who became obsessed with the villainous characters he portrayed on screen. After being disfigured in a car accident, he used his knowledge of special effects to transform himself into a living, shape-shifting clay creature. His powers allowed him to change his appearance at will and gave him superhuman strength and durability. Over the course of the series, Clayface became one of Batman's most formidable foes, using his shape-shifting abilities to impersonate others and commit crimes. However, he also struggled with his own identity, often feeling like a monster and seeking a cure for his condition. Throughout his various incarnations, Clayface remained a complex and tragic figure, struggling with his own identity and place in the world. His unique powers and abilities made him a formidable opponent for Batman, and his tragic backstory and inner turmoil made him a compelling and sympathetic character.
