Bruce Timm is an American artist, animator, and producer, known for his work on some of the most popular and iconic animated TV shows and films of the last few decades. He was born on February 8, 1961, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised in California. Timm's fascination with comic books and cartoons began at a young age, and he honed his skills by drawing and practicing in his spare time. After studying art at various colleges, Timm began his career as a character designer for Filmation Studios in the early 1980s. He later worked for Marvel Productions and Hanna-Barbera before joining Warner Bros. Animation in 1989.

It was at Warner Bros. that Timm really made his mark, and he quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the studio's most respected and innovative animators.
