ABOUT THE IMAGE: The panther drops a coin while walking on the street, and it falls down a sewer. He buys a strong magnet, attempting to use it to get the coin back. Unfortunately, the magnet rips off anything metallic he passes by, including the watch from a man at a bus stop and the whistle, badge and uniform buttons from a policeman, and the panther gets in trouble with the law. When the panther finally gets back to the sewer, another man pulls up the coin with his own magnet.
The Pink Panther animated series features a silent and suave pink-colored panther who became an iconic character. Created by Friz Freleng and David DePatie, the show initially started as an opening sequence for the Pink Panther film series but later became a standalone cartoon series due to its popularity.
ABOUT THE MEDIUM: Original Production Drawings are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-drawn by a studio artist.
