ABOUT THE IMAGE: The Quick Draw McGraw Show is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. Voice actor Daws Butler performed the show's title character, Quick Draw McGraw. The show debuted in syndication on September 28, 1959, ending its run on October 20, 1961, and was sponsored by Kellogg's. The series featured three cartoons per episode, with Quick Draw and his sidekick Baba Looey (originally named Poco) appearing in the first segment, father and son dog duo Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy in the second, and cat and mouse detectives Snooper and Blabber in the third.
ABOUT THE MEDIUM: A Model Sheet is a group of character drawings illustrating different poses and expressions of a cartoon character. Because a number of artists work on a single cartoon, these sheets are circulated to the animators to give a uniform look and feel to a character throughout a production. Model sheets can also xeroxed or painted onto acetate to create what is known as a "model cel."
