ABOUT THE IMAGE: This handsome rough animation drawing of Alice was created by a Disney animator in development of a Mad Tea Party scene in Walt Disney's animated feature based on the stories by Lewis Carroll. In an attempt to tell her story without frightening the Dormouse, Alice leans over to whisper "I mean my C-A-T..." to the Mad Hatter who rises to his feet, hoists the tea pot and exclaims: "Tea!"

Marc Davis, one of Walt Disney's master animators known as his Nine Old Men, supervised the animation of Alice in this scene. The animator wrote the designation "18" at lower right to indicate this original's place in the scene. Our certificate of authenticity is included.

ABOUT THE MEDIUM:  Original Production Drawings are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that were used in the creation of an animated film or television show. Each has been hand-drawn by a studio artist.
